The mother of Earl Klein was Susan Hall.Susan married William Barnhart Since Earl was was born out of wedlock
he carried the name of Earl Hall. Earl Hall was adopted by Peter Rutter and his wife Susan Barnhart who was full cherokee. Her dad was Jacob Barnhart son of Charley Barnhart and the brother of Willam. Earl (Hall/Klein/Barnhart) Rutter
married Clarissa Rutter. Clarissa was born at Trimble Ohio
Earl and Clarissa was my grandparents on my mothers side of the family The Barnhart bloodline .in my case, was carried by Susan Barnhart and not Earl Rutter.
Incidently our ancestor Peter Barnhart came from Germany to Pennsylvania Dutch country. Mennonite Yoders was married into the Barnhart family. Yoder and Klein are very prominent surnames amongst the Amish and Minninite Community In Ohio and elsewhere.
