I bought a very old photo album recently, and inside were pictures of predominately the Barnhart and Murtland Families and a few scattered other names. Many of the photos were taken in what appears to be Butler, Pennsylvania (embossed at the bottom), and some have New York Studios embossed at the bottom. If anyone thinks these might be their family ancestors, please let me know. The time period I'm not sure of but I will guess 1870s-1910s and I will list an approximate age they appear to be in the picture (this might be off some).
Murtland:
1)Written Sue Murtland on front, Carrie Murtland on back (early 20s);
2)Nancy Murtland (an elderly lady);
3)Wm. Murtland (around 45 yrs old maybe);
4)Cass Barnhart Murtland (about 55 yrs old);
5)Cass Barnhart Murtland & Husband (in their 50s maybe);
Barnhart:
1)Nancy Murtland Barnhart (maybe early 40s);
2)Mrs. Phillip Barnhart (an elderly lady);
3)Two elderly people, says Barnharts 1st to settle Barnharts Mill;
4)R. W. Barnhart (He is about 25 yrs.);
5)Webb and Mary Barnhart (they are about 33 yrs );
6)Mary Barnhart (about 22 Yrs.);
7)Mary Barnhart (about 22 yrs, says Barnhart Mills P.O. Millerstown, Butler, Co, Penn.);
8)Mrs. Aaron Barnhart (about 45 yrs old);
9)Aaron Barnhart (about 45 yrs old);
10)Marie Barnhart & James Thomas son (she is about 27, he is about 6);
Other Families:
1)Icy & brother Wally Davis (both are children);
2)Norman Smith (about 12 yrs old);
3)Susie/Lusie & Uncle Dave Shokley(?) (Elderly people);
4)Myrtle Clark (an elderly lady);
5)Florence Smith McCollough & Pearl Smith Hans (looks like sisters in their 20s);
6)Esther & Lorenzo McCollough (children);
7)Frank Kelly (he is about 28);
8)Dal Davis (says mother sister of Uma Smith or Wm. a Smith)(he is about 20);
