I am seeking information on a Stephen Barnhart who emigrated from Switzerland to Lima, Ohio in the mid eighteen hundreds. It is believed that he came to Ohio with a brother, and it is known that he later settled in Putnam County, Ohio. He is known to have had two sons, Stephen and John Louis Barnhart, both of whom lived and died in Putnam County. John died in 1956; Stephen died much later, probably in the mid 1970's.
