Peggy, I am researching a BARNHART family from Dallas County, MO that migrated to Seminole County, OK. On the 1900 Dallas County census, the father, George Barnhart is listed as a widow with 4 children, living next door to a Thomas Henderson, with wife, Sarah and 4 children. The Barnhart children listed are: Virginia, b:April 1885, age 15; Mark, b: Oct 1883, age 16; Melissa, b: Mar 1889, age 13 and Matthew, b: Sept 1893, age 6.
The Thomas Henderson households is listed as follows:
Henderson, Thomas, b: July 1842, TN, age 57; Sarah, wife,b: --1859, age 40, MO; Susan M., b: July 1880, age 19; Paralee J., b: Nov 1882, age 17; Martie or Mertie L., b: Nov 1888, age 14; Lurmine J., b: Nov. 1889, age 10; Young, George, nephew, b: Mar 1892, age 8.
I would be happy to hear more about the Henderson Family after 1900.
