I have a Peter Barnhart from New York, whom I believe was married to Elizabeth Fredueberg, They remove to Ohio Tuscawarwas (sp) Co. His son John Barnhart married Mary Ann Arnold. Peter along with his son's John & Jacob founded the town of Monroeville Indiana. John took his family to Kansas and homesteaded there around 1880, finally settling in Beagle Miami Co, Kansas. Let me know if any of this rings a bell.
