My Bernhards have spelled this different ways...but I know George/Margaret with children Mary,Katherine, Valentine & Henry were in southeast Indiana-Ripley Co. in 1850...then to Illinois and Iowa...lost the first daughter Mary...think she married a Jacob Martenstein along the trip...
