My father passed away in 1995. He was born and raised in Osceola, IN but I often recall him mentioning his Uncle Miles in North Umberland, PA and riding a train backwards up a mountain to the town. My father had 10 brothers and sisters of whom two were Bertha and Jennie. Sounds like we may be remotely related. My dad's father's name was also John. Is it possible that my grandfather and your grandfather were brothers?
