John E. Barnhart was actually born on Sept 3, 1844 (not 1884). He married Caroline Hale (O'Hail)around 1867. They are my Great Grandparents. I have a great deal on the Barnhart family. This couple lived their whole lives in York County, PA. All I know of Caroline before their marriage, is that she was the daughter of Peter and Hannah Hale (O'Hail). I am trying to find out more about the Hales. They moved to Virginia after 1860. Let me know what you are looking for and we can share information.
