Searching for descendants of Philip BARNHART (1757-1843) and Elizabeth ANTES, who are buried in Centre Co, PA. They had three sons: Jacob, Henry and Philip Antes. Philip Antes BARNHART(1791-1867) married Mary MAGEE, and had at least two children, Thomas and Philip.
Thomas BARNHART (d. 1880) married Hanna HALL, 15 Feb 1849 in Centre Co, PA. Thomas
BARNHART served as a Methodist Circuit Rider
in PA and MD, eventually being 'called' to the Midwest, where he died in 1880
in Red Oak, Iowa. They had at least five children: Mary Catherine, Sarah Elizabeth, John Phillip, James Howard, and William Tyreman.
Mary Catherine BARNHART, bn 1861 in MD, married James Bruce DAVIS 14 Mar 1883 in Page Co, Iowa...who were my G-Grandparents.
