William Barnhart from Armstrong County, PA

I am searching for the parents of William G. Barnhart. In the 1860 census, he was living in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County, PA. In the 1870, 1880, 1900 census, he is living in Sugar Creek Township, Armstrong County, PA.

William was born October 1825. His wife, Margaret, was born January 1836, They had these children: James (born abt 1854) Daniel (born abt 1856) William (born abt 1858) George (born abt 1860) Charles (born abt 1862) ? Claudia (born abt 1866) John (born abt 1869) Irvin (born abt 1872)
Harvey (born abt 1874)and Warren (born abt 1878.

In the 1900 census, they had a grandson (Elmer R. Barnhart b: September 1888) living with them. The census records state William was born in PA. But we're having a difficult time trying to find him in the 1850 census in PA.

Any information that would help us expand on William's branch of the Barnhart family tree would be greatly appreciated.
