George Barnhardt is the son of John R. & Phillipina Schmitten Barnhardt.
George Born July 1, 1800 Died Dec. 12, 1895
His first wife was Polly Bost Children from this marriage were (1) Nellie B:5-27-1830 D:1-31-1924 (2)Charles B:5-15-1832 D:5-18-1863 (3)Jacob Ruffis B:12-14-1836 D: 1-28-1926 (4) Moses B:abt 1833 D?. His second wife was Mary Biggers (Her first marriage was to Isaac Krimminger). George & Mary's children are (1)Isaac Martin B: 12-20-1847 D: Oct. 19, 1855 (2) George Hillard (my greatgrandfather) B:11-24-1851 D:3-17-1899 (3) John Luther B:Jul. 14,1854 D: Jun.19, 1929. I have family Bible records on this and most of these are buried at Cold Springs (I am the chairman of the cemetery committee ar Cold Springs UMC).
