I would like some help on this man and his family.
Found in Russell County, Virginia DEED BOOK #1 ABSTRACTS
1786 - 1795 Russell County, Deed Book #1.
Page 88 & 89--August 18, 1789 between Alexander Barnett
& Jane and James Dickenson of Washington County...400
acres granted to Alexander Barnett by patent dated
April 13, 1784...on both sides of Mocqueson Creek a
north branch of the north fork of Holston River...etc...
Now also found that Alexander Barnett also had a Precint
in Washington County, Virginia during Tax Lists Years
dated from 1782 through 1786 in which he was known as
Gent., and as Captain.
Can some help with filling in the gaps.
Where was he from?
Where was he born?
Who were his siblings and their parents?
