Laurel Maxine Barnett, 91, Springfield, MO, passed away October 22, 2008. She was born in Sleeper, MO, on December 26, 1916, to Everett J. Barnett and Effie Wilson Barnett.
Laurel was employed with Mid-America Dairyman for 40 years and retired in 1981. She was a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Laurel was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lanford W. Barnett.
She is survived by several cousins and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2008, in Lebanon City Cemetery, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2008, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, 820 E. Cherry, Springfield, MO 65806 or the charity of the donor's choice.
