I can't find any further info about Mattie.
I found Ora's parents, Henry and Leah, both died in BenHill, GA, Leah on 17-Jan-1944 and Henry on 5-Nov-1951.
In the 1930 census the SNELGROVES were in Ambrose, Coffee Co, GA. Kids still at home: Nellie, Eddie Sue, Inez, Cecil, Lillie Mae and Mary.
In 1910 they were in Bowen Mills, Wilcox Co, GA.
John H. BARNES is just too common a name to find the specific one without more to go on.
You might try getting copies of the marriage records for Henry & Leah and John & Ora. Those will sometimes list the parents' names.
