Many online family trees have the parents of the Elizabeth Dodge who married Thomas Barnes (1732-1761) of Brookfield, MA as Francis Dodge and Sarah Dodge. The Elizabeth Dodge who married Thomas Barnes was the daughter of Joshua Dodge (1701-1793) and Elizabeth Clough. Joshua Dodge had moved from Boston, MA to Marlborough, MA by 1742 where he is listed as cordwainer and to Brookfield by 1743. This Dodge family lived near the Noah Barnes family, father of Thomas.
In his will, written in 1782, proved 1793, Joshua Dodge mentions his daughter Elizabeth and his grandsons Elijah and Joshua Barns. This will is posted at http://files.usgwarchives.org/ma/worcester/wills/dodge-joshua.txt Joshua Dodge was the son of Antipas Dodge and Joanna Lowe of Ipswich, MA.
