Question on the Amesbury Thomas Barnard (my 8th generation g grandfather) line below. According to the Life and Times in Hopkinton, published 1890, Thomas' Great Grandson Nathaniel, was married to Ruth French. I've seen several genealogies that had Nathaniel married to Elizabeth Martain. I know it's the Nathaniel mentioned in the Life and times of Hopkinton because the birth dates are the same as found on web genealogies. Was Nathaniel married twice? Can anyone shed any light on the subject? Thanks in advance.
