My great great grandfather, William Barnard[b 1812] migrated to Western Australia in 1830. On the Swan River Colony Census in 1832 his birthplace was given as Hertford. One family member supposes that he was the son of William Barnard of Sawbridgeworth, Herts. who married Susann Patmore on 28 Mar 1809, in Sawbridgeworth. Is there anyone out there who had a family member, migrate to WA at about that time. I'd be grateful to hear from you. In his Will of 1874 he stated that his address from whence he'd sailed, was East St. Lisson Grove, London, in Oct 1829.
