Dear Kirk:

Do you have any genealogical information regarding the ancestors of your John Barnard who left Ipswich, England with his family to migrate to Watertown, MA? I am researching a John Barnard who left England in approximately 1736 and settled in Wilmington Island, GA which is one of the barrier islands off the coast of Savannah, Georgia USA. I am trying to gather genealogical information about the Barnard Family of Ipswich, England which built ships for the English Royal Navy and for the East India Company I believe. These ships were produced by the Barnard Family starting approximately in the 17th Century and continued until approximately the early 18th Century. Any information which you could provide about the Barnard Family of Ipswich prior to 1736 would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Carole Melson.
