Hello,
My name is Matthew Putnam. I am trying to find information concerning Charles O. Barnard. He was born in Malden, Mass. in 1889 and was the son of Charles H. Barnard and Mary I. Putnam. His father was a nickel-plater by trade. His older brother was Chester I. Barnard, who was president of the Rockefeller Foudation as well as head of the USO during WWII. Charles moved to California sometime in the early part of the century. He lived in San Jose. What specific year he moved I do not know. In his brother Chester's obituary of 1961, Charles was listed as still living in California. I do not know when Charles died, or whether he had a family. Please respond with a message on this board if anyone has any helpful information. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
