I was recently made aware of another Barmore Piano Company in New York City. This company made Grands and Squares. They went out of business in 1854. My family was recently able to purchase a Barmore upright in excellent condition. It is on display at the Barker Historical Museum in Fredonia N.Y., right acrossed the street from where L.A. Barmore's store was located in the late 1800's.
