My ancestor was a THOMAS Barlow who was born in Salford late 1820s, early 1830s. According to the census returns he was a metal cleaner. His father was JOHN Barlow who is down on Thomas's wedding cert as an Engraver. Thomas was resident in Thornaby-on-Tees at the time of his marriage to Mary Mitchinson in 1866. I am unable to locate him OR his father in 1841, 1851 or 1861 census - can anyone help?
