Hi:

We haven't quite got back to the 1700's with the Barley's yet. I looked at the names we have and Thomas doesn't appear anywhere. We have gotten back to 1841 so far and am working on going further back.

Scotter is in Lincolnshire county. I don't know how close that is to Norfolk county.
Don't give up on us because we could find out down the line there is a connection.
