Looking for the marriage of Joseph BARKWELL & Elvira FREEMAN, m. abt. 1805, VA. Moved to KY, had at least two sons, Harmon G. Barkwell (b. 1807) & Major C. Barkwell (b. 1815). Moved to IN between 1830 & 1840. Son Harmon G. (H.G.) became a lawyer, then a judge. He married (1) Parmelia Aldridge 1839, Posey County, IN and (2) Rachel Shields 1860 Harrison County, IN. Major C. became a doctor and married Nancy Daniels 1845 Spensor County, IN. I have more info on descendants of Harmon & Parmelia. Particularly interested in any link between the New Kent County, VA Barkwells, and Joseph Barkwell. Thanks for any help. Annie
