I came over to this site today after several years and discovered your message. I had not been notified. A book has been written about your Mennonite ancestors. Can't think of the name of it, but the author was _______ Jones. The L.A. Times genealogy column gave it a nice write up. This was about 20 years ago. We lived in L.A. then and I called him thinking there might be some connection. He said there was not. But it would give you a lot of information, I'm sure. If I can ever think of the name of that book, or his full name, I will let you know.
