I wrote to you earlier about Barkmans in the Albany/ Schoharie Co area and I recently got some information that connects our two lines. The Henry Barkman you mentioned was the brother of my Catherine Barkman. Here's some info that I have on their family:
John Barrackman b. 1753 in Ireland d.1814 VT married Anna Maria Miller
They had at least one son Garrett b.c1777 d.December 26, 1851 near Huntersland, NY. Buried in the Barrickman Cemetery, Huntersland. Garrett married Sophronia/Veronica Clackner b.April 20, 1781 d.February 20, 1842 (Both buried in the Barrickman Cemetery, Huntersland)
Garrett and Sophronia had children:
William b. February 23, 1802
Daniel b. June 11, 1803
Henry b. November 05, 1805
Catherine b. 1809
John H. b. April 1813
(There is also another daughter but she is yet to be named)

I was wondering where the family cemetery is that you found the graves of Henry and Mary Barkman (and children Rensselaer and Hannah). Also, have you been to the Huntersland Church Cemetery or did you find the records somewhere? I live close by and I'm wondering if it's possible more Barkmans are buried there?
