Phebe Tanner Barkman (12 Feb 1815 - 7 Mar 1890) ia buried in Buck's Grove Cemetery (A-33). (Highway 16 west of Holton, KS.) Her daughter, Caroline Barkman McKinsey
(24 Jul 1846 - 8 Apr 1934) is also buried there (A-33). Her granddaughter, Violetta McKinsey Nicholas (17 Mar 1870 -3 Aug 1931)is also buried there (A-60). Her great-granddaughter, Anna Lee Nicholas Barnes (25 May 1904 - 15 Oct 2007) was my mother. We will be installing a plaque in her memory there in the summer of 2011.
