hello! my maiden name was barke. my father 1931-1994 was homer c. barke, III from phila, pa and his father was homer c. barke, II.born in phila area i believe. but he had another son (my 1/2 uncle) richard barke who was born in atlanta, ga and now resides in texas , houston, i believe. i think he is a professor at a university. i hope this helps you. my father was a salesman and would always look up the barke name in phone books.
