Diana, I found mention of a M-Joseph Baribeau, spouse of Louis Massicot (1739)in St. Genevieve listed in the Baribeau pages of a collection on early settlers written by Cyprien Tanguay. There is also a M-Joseph Massicot who married Francois Baribeau on 10 Feb 1777 at Bastican. There are many M-Joseph Baribeaus throughout the 1700s, but the only one I found who was born in the 1750's was the daughter of Francois and Marie-Joseph Charets. It appears she only lived for a little over a year (4Sept1758-14Dec1759. If you could get a hold of the Massicot pages of this collection, it might be more helpful.
