Deborah, I would LOVE to get a copy of the discharge papers. Is it possible to scan them and send them to me at jackmathis@comcast.net?
The actual 1962 newspaper article I posted about the reunion has a photo of all the attending Barhams. Mrs. Straley included it in the Barham book, but if you got your copy before she included it and want a copy, I'll be glad to scan it and send it to you. I'll need your direct e-mail, though, as we cannot send attachments through this forum.
I've heard Lone Star Cemetery, too, but I haven't been able to find such a cemetery in Granbury on line. I'm in Connecticut so rely a lot on on-line stuff. There is a Lone Star Cemetery in Wright Co MO that has many Greens in it (my family) and I've been there (I have a brother in Ozark MO that I visit on occasion), so I'm kind of wondering if someone got Lone Star Cemetery in MO mixed up with a cemetery in Granbury.
