Hi Dennis,

There were two Bargo/Barger/Barriger/Barringer families in Kentucky.

My family used all the names above, and my earliest information has John in Shelby Co., KY 1800 tax list, and the 1810 Census. (Sorry, I'm working from memory). I believe John Bargo/Barriger migrated from PA. John had about 12 children. I have only been able to link two individuals to John and his wife Anna as their children. The others I believe to be John and Anna children due to location and time frame.

The othe Bargo Family is from Knox County, KY and I have not been able to find a connection to my own.

I also have not found a connection to the Barringers in NC, however, it appear from your two postings that the Knox Co., KY and NC Bargo/Barringers are linked.

Please keep me in mind if you run across info that does not fit your family, and I will do the same for you.
