I am looking for information for Lewis/Louis Barge b. 1741 d 2/2/1809. I have a lot of information on his family with his second

Lewis Barge, was born 1741 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died Feb-2-1809 in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North
Carolina. He married (1) Mary Kelly Bef. 1755. He married (2) Christiana Unknown, 1775.
Lewis Barge owned Barge Tavern in Fayetteville, North Carolina, which has now been converted into a Convention Center by the
Chamber of Commerce. He was instrumental in having the town named Cross Creek and was active in politics.
More facts about Lewis Barge: listed in First Treasurer's Papers for voucher; moved to Fayetteville in 1761; was a hatter and also
ran an inn; Buried at Cripple Creek; Signer of Liberty Point Resolves and supported cause of the Colonies.
Children of Lewis Barge and Mary Kelly are:
2 i. Mary "Polly" Barge, born WFT Est. 1762-1790; died WFT Est. 1778-1872. She married John Wilson WFT Est. 1778-1823.
