I think your Emma Barfoot was the sister of my great-grandfather Samuel Rookes Barfoot who lived in Chatham, Ontario. I think there were 5 children in all - Eliza, Benjamin, Emma, Samuel and Mary Ann.
Emma and William Berry were married in Chatham on February 14, 1860. According to the marriage record, he was born in England and his parents were William and Mary.
Would like to share more information especially about the family bible you mention..
