According to my research, I have the following:
1653 Robert Brasseur brings a Jon Barefeild to Virginia. Jon marries Jane Loadman.
Suspected children are:
Richard I (b. 1665 or 1670 d. 1727)
William
Jane

Thomas
Richard I marries Mary Evans
Children are:
Richard II b. 1687 d. June 5, 1755 in Dauphin Co, NC
Isham
Solomon (1691-1738)
James
Elizabeth (marries a William Moore and has a son-Richard Barfield??)
Henry (169?-1728)
William d. 1783
Thomas (1698-1726 or 1768)
Ann
Richard II marries ?; has following children:
Richard
Solomon
Henry
Lebeth
Catherine
Jessie
Ann
Mary
Can anyone confirm/refute any of this information?? I can provide whatever info I have on each one of these. My information was gleaned from many sources, some of which contradict each other.
For example, I found several indications that Jane Loadman was Richard I's wife, not mother.
