Looking for information on Lewis Ashton Barfield of Trenton N.C. b.1818 He married Jezebel Mallard (first name spelled 3 different ways)married 1852 in Trenton. (Her parents John & Anna Cox) Had numerous children - Frances, Emma Barfield Willis, Ann, John, Hopey Barfield Fulcher, Sophronia Barfield Toppings, Lurania B. Smelter. (All born bet. 1855-1875) Do know that he fought during the war with Col. Netthercutt. Any help greatly appreciated. Have hit a dead end
