I never noticed this posting before today. I'm also descended from General Lafayette Barfield and have been to the cemetery a few times. It was kept up pretty well back in the 60's and 70's when I was young but I do notice it's not kept up now. GL Barfield was my great-great grandfather. His daughter Navy was my great-grandmother. According her her obituary, she was buried in the Hodges cemetery which is near the New Friendship cemetery in Hahira area but I never saw her grave there. I'll have to take a look at what you have on this cemetery.
