My husbands great-great-great grand father was a
George W. Barefield born 1855 he had a son named
Willie Monroe Barefield Who had a girl named
Mittie Barefield who had a son named Dan C. Landrum whos son is my husband.

George W. Barefield father was Jesses Barefield

I don't know if these are the same so lets find out
