Reference H.Barden from Sherman, New York

Mary Barden Dec. 25, 1842 born in Pomfret, New York is the same Chautauqua County as location of Sherman, New York. Mary Barden belonged to "The United Brethern Church and married Charles Apthorp. She died in Fredonia, New York 1 February 1928. Her father was Jacob Barden and wife Aminda. Jacob Barden and Aminda lived in Genesse County New York prior to moving to Chautaqua. Before that the family was from Massachusetts. Is there any connection to Harold Barden? Please let me know.
