Hi Nancy! Thanks for the post! It is very likely that she was a sister or a cousin to John as most all of the Bardin's from Wayne County, North Carolina are connected. I have found a lot of info on Bardin's that are descendents of John and Nancy, but I have hit a brick wall when it comes to finding out info on John or his parents and siblings. I have been told that the Bardin's are Cherokee and if that is true, that would explain why we can't find any records that far back. I have run across another Bardin line with many similar names and dates, but they are of French lineage. I will keep you updated if I find anything, please do the same for me! Thanks again!
