I am looking for any information on Ebenezer Barden and his family. He was born in Sheffield, England on 2 Sep 1845. When he was two and one half years old, he and his family came to America. It is believed his parents died at sea coming over. One known brother is John, born in 1835. It has been said that all the children were placed with aunts and uncles, except Ebenezer, who was place in a children's home in New York.
Ebenezer married Susan Marguret Cook on 6 Oct 1867 in Monroe County, IN. He died on 17 Sep 1934 in Shelbyville, Shelby, IL. Their family:
