The information from James and John's marriage records came directly from St. Peters. I do, however, question the fact that the record states that John's age was 23 in 1889 since this does not agree with Census info. I wonder if Kate Gorman was the former wife of John Gorman, the witness to John's marriage to Margaret.
The NJ state death record for "Jennie" Barden (3/23/1897)indicates that her parents were Michael and Johanna Quigley.
I'd be very interested to hear how our William Edgeworth has been linked to R.L. Edgeworth. I'm also interested in how you've found Robert's brothers Richard and Stephen. This is really great information.
I've been unsuccessful in my attempts to find useful data on Michael P. Barden and wife Jennie; no marriage records, no record of the birth of Edward (or Joseph, if he existed). Did Michael remarry after the untimely death of Jennie? He certainly has proven to be an elusive fellow...
