Jesse and Jacob Barden were probably brothers.
Jesse PROBABLY had Piety born a 1743 NC
who married Jesse Aycock Rev. Pat. and
both Jesse's appear on land deed.
He left few footprints.
Jacob Barden b 1705 married 1729 Sara
children:
James 1730 Wayne Co NC m 1769 Mary
Sara
Drucilla 1734
Elizabeth
Alice (Alse)
Ann

James and Mary..only known child William
b 1771 married Nancy Cook.

Piety Barden is my ancestor. She had
Jesse, Ann, Benjamin, Elias, James, Timothy, Ephriam, Simon.

In 1832 Supreme Court-Wayne..Jesse Barden
sued his wife Ann Marian Bradberry on the grounds that the child she bore was clearly mulatto. Supreme Court denied him relief.
