I'm looking for a North Carolina Barden family also. My ancestor _____ Barden married William Dale/Dail in NC in the late 1700's. She is mentioned in her grandson's autobiography, but he couldn't recall her given name. It is possible that she was a sister or cousin to your John. Please keep me in mind if you have any luck with this family. I will do the same. -Cheryl
