Richard J Barcus, b 6/15/1828 MD. Family story is - Father died when Richard was 7; he was taken to relatives in KY. Brother James was left in OH and sister Emily stayed in MD. Richard is said to have fought in the UNION Army and his wife Laura Eugenia Wilcoxson was disowned by her prominent Barren Co, KY family because of this. Laura had a sister Alice and brother George. Richard died in TX in 1897, father of Flora, William Eben, Mira, Nancy, RE, and John Richard. Appreciate any connections.
