Ms King, my father was Richard Emery Barcus and his Father was John Richard Barcus born Feb 12, 1879 in Louisville, Ky. His father was a man named Richard we do not have much information about him, but we know he was married to a woman named Laura Caroline Hall and that they had several children and the family was scattered when the children were young. But I think we are related, because I had great aunts Myra, Flora and Nannie. I was afraid we would never be able to find out anything about our family because no one had any information about the Father. Aunts Myra and Nannie lived in Grand Junction Co. where the both died late in life. Aunt Flora lived in Sonora Ky and she also lifed to be quite old. My grandfather died in 1962 at age 86 in Bartlesville, Ok. As as child, I remember meeting my Aunts at our home im Bartlesville, and I even have family photos I would be willing to share with you.. I really think we have a lot in common... I hope you will contact me.
