I just came across this site while looking for something else! How funny.

Sally, I know almost none of the family history on the Barkus side, but my grandparents (Jack and Bertha Barkus) were from Willow Springs Illinois. I think their parents were the generation that came from Lithuania, but I don't know when. Sorry, this is probably no help to you at all. My dad would know more. You can contact me if you like and I will give you his e-mail. I'm dying to go to Vilnius some day.
