Hi,JJ! Sorry I must have missed your follow-up posting. I would be very interested in sharing info with you! My name is Susan Hayden, I am a great granddaughter of Alexander & Catherine Barclay and granddaughter of James Otis Barclay who married Julia Frances Walker in MO. Feel free to e-mail me at: susan07@ix.netcom.com (that's an O after susan, not a zero - some people confuse them and get error messages). Would love to see what info you have. I have pictures of James & Julia Barclay. They had 9 children, Gurney Agnes (m. John Pitts), Sidney Iwood (m. Myrtle ?), Maggie May (m. 1st Parrish, 2nd Ezra McFarland), Otis Ray (m. Frances Tallman), Olympia Walker (m. 1st Oscar Lee, 2nd Orvil Bond), Ida Ruth (m. 1st Harvey Priddy, 2nd ? White), Bulia Catherine (m. Wm. Lowe), John Alexander (m. AnnaMarie Johns), Vivian Mattie (m. Chester Hayden) (they were my parents). They are all deceased now.

I remember my aunt Maggie talking about Sid Kitrell.

Alexander Barclay (Catherine's husband) was killed by Confederate guerrillas in 1863. He and a friend, Mr. Dildine, had travelled to KY to find a save place for their families and were on their way home to get them when both were shot and killed in Putnam Co., TN. I have a lot of info on this if you would like to have it.

Susan Hayden
