I am looking for more information on John Barclay who is buried in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia. He was born ca. 1820; died 1891. Married to Sarah Ellis.
John's father, also John, is listed in my baby book as from Scotland and his mother's last name as Hollsworth (although this could be a misspelling of similar names like Hollingsworth,etc.) She is noted from England.
Very hard to trace in Nova Scotia, although the Hollsworth name should help.
Thanks for any help "out there."
John's children visited Massachusetts, which may indicate that there were relatives there.
