I noted that there was a Bartley in Stewiacke census. I am looking for a John Barclay who married into the Ellis Family of Stewiacke. I have often wondered if that name Bartley was a misspelling of Barclay as it shows him married to a Ellis. On the other hand, maybe your Bartley/Barclay had a brother John??
