I have two web pages of interest to descendants of this strain of Barclays. There will be more later. Here is some general information. Robert's wife Leah's maiden name was Madison. Son Samuel left NC and went to Tenn with his family. One or more of his sons went to Texas before the Texas Revolution. Robert and his family went to the Louisana purchase part that became Mo. Walter and all his family went to Texas around 1828.(Walter may have had a son with a first wife in Richmond Kent Madison Co named Peter) The Barclays were prolific. There were 800 descendants from Walters family in east Texas by 1930. My websites are;
