I am the great-great grandson of Samuel Walker. Some of his sons were: George W. Walker; Aza H. Walker; John M. Walker; Harvey Russell Walker and Joseph Nelson Walker. They were raised in Florida Township in Numa and Atherton in Parke County.

They were farmers in the Southwest part of Parke County. They settled on what was called Walker's Bluff in 1819. My Grandfather, Harvey Russell Walker, had my grandmother in 1882.
